About Us

2L De Blend is situated in the former headquarters of Jacob Douwe Egberts right in the heart of Utrecht. Throughout the hotel you will find a variety of references to the rich history of the building. The original Jacob Douwe Egberts coffee roasting factory is still located opposite 2L De Blend.

After the headquarters moved out of De Blend, it has been turned into a building that offers a unique blend of purposes. Today it offers a restaurant, a variety of offices and of course the aparthotel with its 70 state-of-the-art studios and suites.

The name De Blend does not only refer to the variety of possibilities within the building, but it also relates to the coffee that is still being roasted on the other side of the street. In addition, during your stay we will make sure that you will be able to blend in perfectly as a tourist, an expat or on your business trip in Utrecht.
